THE SAVES SCHOLARSHIP

We provide support for local LGBTQ+ youth and allies by investing in their education.

Applications for scholarships open June 1st- 30th.

Scholarship(s) are awarded in July.

The SAVES Scholarship is intended for active participants in LGBTQ SAVES programs—youth who consistently show up, contribute to our community spaces, and embody the values of authenticity, resilience, and mutual support. 

FAQ & CONTACT

  • How do I qualify for a SAVES scholarship?

    • In order to qualify for this scholarship, you will need to be a registered LGBTQ SAVES member and have participated in our programs for a minimum of 6 months. 

  • What is the scholarship amount? 

    • Awards typically range from $250 to $2,500, depending on the number of applicants, available funding, and the strength of submitted applications.

  • Do I have to be attending a four year university to qualify for the scholarship?

    • Nope! This scholarship can be used for students attending trade school, community college, and traditional university. ​​

  • How can I submit my application? 

    • All materials must be submitted through the online application form by June 30th. We cannot mailed or incomplete applications.
